WARNING SIGNS:
- Sudden loss of mobile signal (no outages reported)
- Not receiving calls or SMS
- Unexpected OTPs you did not request
- Suspicious login alerts from your accounts
ACT FAST: Contact your mobile operator immediately and ask them to freeze your number. Then contact your bank and change your passwords from a secure device.
Prevention is better than cure. Enable two-factor authentication using an authenticator app — not SMS.
