THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK
That urgent SMS about your account? That “limited time offer”? That link asking you to verify your details? It might be a SCAM.
RED FLAGS:
- Generic greetings like “Dear customer”
- Urgent language pressuring you to act immediately
- Suspicious links that don’t match the sender’s domain
- Requests for personal information, OTPs, or passwords
Never click on suspicious links. Never share OTPs or personal info via SMS. When in doubt, contact your service provider directly using official channels.
Remember: Your bank will NEVER ask for your password or PIN via SMS.
